A quick thumbs-up at bedtime now shapes tomorrow's story

Tell us how last night's story went with a single tap, and we'll steer tomorrow's a little closer to what your family loves.

Some nights the story lands. Your child leans in, asks one more question, doesn't want it to end. Other nights it drifts past them. You can feel the difference in the room — and now Dreamtime can act on it.

One tap, the morning after

When you open the app, the very first thing you'll see is a gentle question about the story you read last night:

How was last night's story? 👍 👎

The Home screen asks

That's it. One tap. No form, no stars to line up, no "leave a review" guilt. If you'd rather not say, dismiss it and it won't ask again for that story.

We also moved the same quick thumbs to the end of each story — right where you finish reading aloud, when the night is freshest in your mind. No more scrolling past the characters to find it.

The rating prompt now sits at the end of the story, right where you finish reading aloud.

Why your thumb matters

Every Dreamtime story is built from a set of quiet choices: the kind of world it's set in, the shape of the plot, the mood, the way it's told. When you tell us a story landed, we lean tomorrow's choices a little more toward what worked for your family. When one misses, we ease off. Over a week or two, the nightly story settles into your child's particular taste — braver or gentler, sillier or quieter — without you ever having to set a single preference.

The thumb is the steering wheel. It was always there; we'd just hidden it somewhere you'd never reach for it.

Nothing to set up

It's already on. Open the app tomorrow morning, answer one small question about last night, and you've started teaching the stories what your family loves. That's the whole feature.

Sweet dreams.
